MADILL, Okla. -- 1,000 OG & E customers in Madill were in the dark Wednesday night.
Officials from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office say a truck hit a transformer and took out four electric poles at Highway 377 and Wolf Street at around 9 o’clock Wednesday night
OG&E crews worked all night and were able to restore power to most of the customers by midnight.
On Thursday morning, crews have repaired the transformer and four new electric poles have been wired and put in place.
OG&E officials say all their customers in Madill are back on.
