3 injured in head-on collision near Whitesboro
WHITESBORO, TX - Two people were trapped in vehicles Monday afternoon after a head on collision on U.S. Highway 377 between Whitesboro and Lake Texoma.

WHITESBORO, TX - Two people were trapped in vehicles Monday afternoon after a head on collision on U.S. Highway 377 between Whitesboro and Lake Texoma.
DPS Troopers say a silver car was headed north on U.S. 377 at Catfish Haven around 3:30 p.m. when it tried to pass a car in a no-passing zone and struck a southbound pickup head-on.
Two people, the driver of the silver car and a passenger inside the pickup, were flown to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in critical condition. The driver of the pickup was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ.
Editor's Note: The family of the driver of the pickup is asking for help locating a dog that ran off from the scene shortly after the accident. The dog is a female black pug, with a small white dot on her chest named Dixie. If found please call Stucky's Animal Hospital at 903-564-5926.
