9-10-04 – A water main broke at Pecan Street and Highway 75 in Sherman this morning. The break caused a drop in water pressure for the campuses at Sherman High School and Jefferson Elementary. Both schools let students out early.

The water main was repaired before noon, but students had already gone home for the day. City workers are still trying to determine what caused the line to rupture.
