Paris Hospital Provides Car Seats

9-13-04 - All babies delivered at Paris Regional Medical Center's Woman's and Baby's Hospital are going to receive a special gift from the hospital Auxiliary beginning Oct. 1. Each child born at PRMC will receive a Cosco Touriva car seat.

"This is the Auxiliary's way of saying thank you for using Paris Regional Medical Center," explains Lisa Higgins, director of volunteers. The seats will be presented to the mother and child upon dismissal from the hospital.

The car seats have a comfortable padded shield and three harness heights for a growing child. The convertible booster seat accommodates children weighing from five to 40 pounds and features a comfort-padded overhead shield, harness heights for growing children, and an up-front harness adjustment. The seats are also equipped for rear and forward facing travel, depending on the size of the child.
