Sherman man arrested after assaulting store clerk
SHERMAN, TX - A Sherman man was arrested Tuesday night after he attacked a clerk at a local convenience store.

SHERMAN, TX - A Sherman man was arrested Tuesday night after he attacked a clerk at a local convenience store.
Sherman Police responded to the Sunshine Foods on South Dewey around 11:30 Tuesday night. Police say Barry Cox threatened a clerk and tried to attack him before he was pulled out of the store by others. But Cox came back a few seconds later, forced his way behind the counter, and punched the clerk repeatedly in the face. A second clerk was also injured.
Cox was arrested for Burglary of a Building with Intent to Commit an Assault and booked into the Grayson County Jail.
