Denison murder case to go to trial in December
SHERMAN, TX - A Grayson County jury will decide the fate of a Sherman man charged with beating a Denison man to death earlier this year. James Aaron Castillo was indicted for the murder of Robert Kane back in June.

SHERMAN, TX - A Grayson County jury will decide the fate of a Sherman man charged with beating a Denison man to death earlier this year.

James Aaron Castillo was indicted for the murder of Robert Kane back in June. Castillo appeared for a plea hearing this morning in a Grayson County Court and will now go to trial. Castillo will have a pre-trial hearing on November 19, and then go before a jury on December 6.

Police say Kane was beaten to death in April in a parking lot near Towne Pub in Denison. Castillo has remained in the Grayson County Jail since his arrest on April 19.
