ATOKA COUNTY, OK - A 19-year-old Atoka County man was arrested for assaulting the county undersheriff.

Atoka County Deputies were arresting David Mofield on Friday night after they found stolen property at the home where he was staying on Nightengale Road.

Undersheriff Tony Taylor says Mofield started wrestling with him and pushed him. Another deputy tazed Mofield, who fell on the ground, was cuffed, and arrested.

The district attorney says they will charge Mofield with assault on an officer.
