Van Alstyne teen dies after Aug. 20 Denison accident
DALLAS - A Van Alstyne teenager hospitalized after a rollover accident in Denison on August 20 has died.

DALLAS - A Van Alstyne teenager hospitalized after a rollover accident in Denison on August 20 has died.

The accident happened just north of Loy Lake Road when a minivan left U.S. Highway 75 and rolled several times. Three 14-year-old girls inside were taken to Parkland Hospital. Police say Madison Williams of Van Alstyne died Saturday from her injuries. The driver and other passengers are still recovering.

A memorial fund has been set up at Texas Star Bank to help with Madi Williams' funeral expenses. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Van Alstyne.

Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
