New city hall in the works in Bonham
BONHAM, TX - A new city hall building could soon be a reality in Bonham. During their last meeting the Bonham City Council voted to hire an architecture firm to design a new city hall.

BONHAM, TX - A new city hall building could soon be a reality in Bonham. During their last meeting the Bonham City Council voted to hire an architecture firm to design a new city hall.
The current facility houses the city administration offices and utility office, as well as the city's police station. City leaders say there is just not enough space to accommodate everyone, and they need a new building.
"Our goal is to have the plans in place and approved in mid November and begin construction shortly there after," city manager Corby Alexander.
The new structure will be built on city owned property just north of the current city hall. The Bonham Police Department would remain in the current facility.
