TOM, Okla. (AP) - The body of a man found in a burned vehicle in southeastern Oklahoma last week remains unidentified.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says the body was found Aug. 24 by hog hunters near Tom in McCurtain County. Brown says the vehicle the body was in was burned but has released no information about the body except to say it does not appear to be foul play.

She says the state Fire Marshal and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have joined the investigation.
