Payday on hold for Caney Public Schools teachers

CANEY, OK - Some teachers in Caney are curious about when they'll get paid.
Caney Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Sheryl Barnett tells us that payday for Caney teachers has been delayed until Friday because the Oklahoma Department of Education did not sent the school's monthly apportionment in time to make payday Tuesday.
School administrators point out that the school is not in any financial trouble, and that teachers can expect to be paid on the scheduled paydays for the rest of the year.
