BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- The National Weather Service confirms a tornado did touch down near Platter, in Bryan County, Wednesday afternoon. Also, several people reporting a tornado touching down Wednesday night in Lone Grove, OK. This photo taken by Kevin Jackson does appear to show a tornado on the ground. Carter County Emergency Management confirms two homes were damaged on Prairie Valley Road.

BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- The National Weather Service confirms a tornado did touch down near Platter, in Bryan County, Wednesday afternoon. Also, several people reporting a tornado touching down Wednesday night in Lone Grove, OK.
This photo taken by Kevin Jackson does appear to show a tornado on the ground. Carter County Emergency Management confirms two homes were damaged on Prairie Valley Road.
In Bryan County, Christian Toews with Calera Fire Rescue, captured the only known shot of the Bryan County tornado, taken around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. It touched down in Platter, and was confirmed by the National Weather Service Wednesday night.
Another twister touched down south of Thackerville, OK and north of Gainesville, TX was also confirmed. No damage was reported.
