ECU Player Remembered

Video will be available shortly.

9-23-04 - Several dozen East Central University students attended a public ceremony to remember the life of Joseph Tusan on Thursday night - just five days after he lost his life in a hit and run accident. Tusan was one of several ECU students and student-athletes riding in the pickup when it was forced off state highway 377 north of Ada on Sunday morning.

A bagpiper played Amazing Grace as students sat silently and remembered the 18-year-old freshman football player. Two other students are still in serious condition.

The man accused of causing that accident, 43-year-old Ammon Reich, is charged with 1st degree murder.
