9-24-04 - The generosity of an Iraqi teenager has changed the heart and mind of the mother of a north Texas soldier.

Tinkie Davidson of Anna received a special package this week from an Iraqi named Ali – a friend of her son who’s in the US Army. Ali enclosed two paintings of her son and a t-shirt with “I love the USA” written on it.

That package is giving her new hope for the US efforts in Iraq – and reassured her that there are Iraqis that do want the US presence in Iraq.

Tinkie’s son Derek is a private in the Army and helps train Iraqi soldiers.
