Grayson County Shooting

9-26-04- Grayson County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a shooting at a house on east Main Street just outside of Denison Saturday evening. Two suspects were taken into custody, but the investigation continues.

Deputies were called to Paw Paw Hill on East Main Street road just east of the Denison City limits on a call of shots fired and a disturbance just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies say there was an argument and a 48 year old Denison man pulled out a gun and shot into his sister's home. Several people were inside, but so far, there are no reports of injuries.

A Denison police officer spotted the vehicle moments later. The man and woman in that vehicle were arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Police found two 9MM semi-automatic weapons in the car. One was empty and the other partially loaded. Both suspects are free on $1,500 bond.

The incident is still under investigation.

spoke to the resident of the house who stated her brother, 48-year old male of Denison pulled into her driveway and got into an arguement. Everyone else went back into the residence and she reported that her brother shot several times into the house and left hearding west on Main street toward Denison.

A Denison Officer spotted the vehicle and stopped it inside the city limits. The 48-year old male and a female companion were arrested and taken to the Grayson County Jail for Unlawful Carrying of a weapon. Inside the vehicle Officers found two 9mm semi auto's one magazine was empty and one was partially loaded.

No other charges have been filed in this case pending completion of the investigation. It was unknown at this time if anyone was injured in this incident. The two suspects that were arrested have posted a $1,500.00 bond from jail.

Denison police took two suspects into custody late Friday night. Investigators say a child in that house might have been grazed by a bullet.
