Vintage Flight Showcases Bombers

9-27-04 - Two vintage planes from the World War II era flew into Texoma Monday.

A B-29 and a B-24 performed a flyover at the Cooke County airport in Lindsay. The bombers are on their way from Tennessee to an air show in Midland, Texas.

The B-29 is the only one of it's type in the world that is still flying today.

Meanwhile, the Grayson County airport is hosting an aerobatic plane competition. The International Aerobatic club is part of a competition to decide which pilots will be make it to the American national team. They’ll compete through the weekend.
