Paris accident kills teen, injuries two others

PARIS, TX-- A car accident Saturday afternoon kills one person and leaves two others injured. The Texas Department of Public Safety says it happened at 4 p.m. Saturday on Highway 271 just south of FM 2648.

DPS says a Suzuki Sidekick carrying three teens was traveling north in the outside lane when it overcorrected and lost control. The vehicle flipped two times before landing on its top. Christopher Altman,14, of Powderly, was killed.

The two other passengers were taking to Paris Regional Medical Center with injuries but in stable condition.
