Mom/Soldier on Jane Pauley Show

11-29-04 - A local mom who’s also serving the US military in Afghanistan appeared on a nationwide talk show that aired Monday afternoon. Sergeant Larissa Copeland and her family were part of an episode of the Jane Pauley Show focused on moms in the military.

The young mother from Colbert, Oklahoma is a sergeant in the Oklahoma National Guard and has spent the last six months in Kabul, Afghanistan. Copeland’s husband, Chris, and their 6-year-old son, Kyle, have stayed behind. The entire family appeared on the show, which was taped last week in New York City.
