10-20-04 - A truck driver was killed Tuesday night when his tractor-trailer ran off the Blue River Bridge on highway 69 in Bryan County.

Authorities say he somehow lost control of the rig and went left of center. The truck tore through the guardrail and went into the center median of the bridge to the river embankement below.

The driver was from Virginia. This is the second semi-truck to go off off the Blue River Bridge in just a matter of months.
