Family, Classmates Remember Fallen Student

12-6-04 - A Fannin County teenager lost his fight to leukemia over the weekend. 17-year-old Justin Owen died on Saturday – 2 years after he was diagnosed with the disease.

In February, his classmates raised almost $3,000 to help find a cure for his disease. Owen was also an honorary football captain for the Purple Warrior football team.

The team will serve as honorary pallbearers at his funeral. It will be held on Wednesday at 2pm at the Bonham high school.

Southeastern Spring Commencement set for May 11
