12-10-04 - UNDATED (AP) The funeral is set for Monday in Frisco for a
North Texas soldier killed in Iraq.

Sergeant Michael Luke Boatright listed his home of record as Whitesboro. The 24-year-old will be laid to rest the next day at the Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Boatright, who went by "Luke," was assigned to the 20th Engineer Battalion, First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood.

Military officials say he was killed Saturday in Baghdad after being struck by an improvised explosive device.

Luke Boatright was a husband and father of three young children. He was scheduled to return home in February, after a one year tour of duty.
