Winds Fuel Fires - Home Destroyed

12-20-04 - High winds helped spread grass fires across the area on Monday. One blaze destroyed a vacant home in rural Grayson County.
A man using a cutting torch to work on a fence in Locust caught nearby grass on fire. Within seconds the fire was burning out of control – eventually spreading to 20 acres and a nearby home. Four fire departments responded – the fire was extinguished within four hours.
