12-22-04- Slick roads are to blame for at least one death on Texoma roads. An Ardmore man was killed Wednesday morning after the vehicle he was driving went into a braodslide and hit a van. Two other people were seriously injured.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 70, about 7 miles west of Madill at 10:15 a.m.

Troopers say 48 year old Sherman Robertson of Ardmore was killed at the scene. They believe Robertson may have been traveling too fast on the slick roads.

The driver of the van was treated and released from the hospital, as was a 19 year old passenger in Robertson's vehicle.
