11-6-04- A Durant woman was killed in a deadly accident on Highway 91 in Bryan County just east of Colbert on Friday. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the victim is 28 year old Tera Kayleen Carpenter.
Carpenter was west bound on Highway 91 around 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon when she crossed the center line and hit a Mack truck head-on.
The driver of that truck, 51 year old Tommy Shaw of Ravenna, Texas, was pinned inside his vehicle for 30 minutes, but only had minor injuries.
Carpenter was pronounced dead at the scene of massive injuries.
