DENISON, Tex. -- The Grayson County Shelter had a lot to be thankful for when a pick-up truck and trailer full of food arrived at the shelter in Denison on Tuesday afternoon.
A spokesperson at the shelter says this large donation from the First Baptist Church of Denison will make residents feel more at home this Thanksgiving.
Donations of this size only get delivered a few times a year. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the thirty-four residents who spend a minimum of 21-days at the shelter will be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal as everyone else.
