11-15-04 - Less than one week after a Denison police officer ran over a pedestrian, the Texas Department of Public Safety has cleared him of any wrongdoing after an investigation.

The DPS announced Monday they will not charge officer Jason Coley. He was patrolling on south Woodlawn Street last week when he hit 48-year-old Madeline Faye. She was walking on the side of the road. Faye died one day later at a Dallas hospital.
