Robber Takes Ring Off Victim's Hand

1-6-05 - An Ivanhoe man was robbed during broad daylight within sight of the Sherman police department this week – but the thief managed to make off with the victim’s wedding ring.

Trenton Reed says a white man in his early 30’s held him at knifepoint in downtown Sherman as Reed was walking to his car. The robber took Reed’s wedding band – just 19 months after he got married.

The suspect is described as about six feet tall and 200 pounds with dark brown hair.
