Tsunami Death Toll Over 150,000

1-8-05- Two weeks after the tsunami hit, hungry villagers are still emerging from isolated areas of Indonesia. Along the country's flattened coast, rescue workers continue to pull thousands more bodies from the mud and debris.

Indonesian authorities have raised their tsunami death toll numbers to more than 100-thousand people. They're also bracing for thousands more homeless people than they first expected.

Staggered by the scope of the crisis, the UN has announced a
mammoth feeding program. The goal is to feed up to two million
survivors every day for the next six months. Officials say the project will focus on young children, pregnant women and nursing mothers.

A World Food Program official says the agency is already feeding
150-thousand people. He's expecting that rate to grow to
400-thousand within a week.
