SAVOY, Tex. -- Six people including an infant were hurt in a major accident near Savoy on Monday afternoon.

Troopers say a truck pulling a goose-neck trailer was headed west on U.S. Highway 82. When it slowed down to turn, a semi hit the truck and trailer. Another car heading eastbound swerved to avoid the collision and ended up hitting a pole on the other side of the road.
Troopers say no one was seriously hurt.
They highway was shut down in both directions for part of Monday.
