11-15-04 – A preliminary hearing continues Tuesday for an Oklahoma man accused in the traffic death of an East Central University football player.

Amman Reich of Konawa is charged with 1st degree murder in the hit-and-run death of 18-year-old Joseph Tusan of Arlington, Texas.
Oklahoma authorities say the September 19th collision happened
after racially charged confrontations between a group of students,
Reich and others under a bridge.

Tusan was black. Reich is white. Investigators allege that after the second argument the students left in a pickup truck, Reich followed and then rammed the pickup from behind. Tusan died at the scene.

Reich also faces nine counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon in connection with people hurt during the wreck. He's free on 125-thousand dollars bond.
