MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. -- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says a stretch of Highway 70 southeast of Madill over the Little Glasses Creek will be narrowed down to one lane through April 30, 2008.

The bridge is being improved, and wide loads will not be allowed to cross during construction. Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route.

The bridge was built back in 1946. About 6,000 vehicles cross that bridge each day.
