DURANT, Okla. -- The man police say admitted to shooting a Durant man last week has been questioned and released. Authorities say Tres Tinsley, 23, shot Faron Wright, 20, at Tinsley’s home.

It happened after police say Wright attacked Tinsley. Investigators believe the incident started over an apparent love interest of the two and Tinsley was likely defending himself when the shooting happened.

Wright died at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made.
