CALERA, OK -- Calera Police say a 13-year-old girl is dead after a two-vehicle accident Sunday morning.
Police say around 10:50 a.m. a pickup crashed into a white car at the intersection of Southbound 75 and North McKinnley. Authorities say a teen in the car was pronounced dead at the scene and that her 6-year-old brother and mother were flown to Dallas area hospitals in critical condition. Police say the family is from Arlington, Texas. Officers say two males in the pickup were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say two of three dogs in the car also died.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
