1-7-05 – A former police officer at Grayson County College claims to have been fired after being sexually harassed on the job. Evelyn Buntz was fired only two months after filing two sexual harassment complaints.

Buntz said one night she was called to the boy’s dorm by a student-employee saying someone had been locked out of their dorm. When she arrived, the employee got into her car and tried to kiss her and invited her to his room.

On a separate occasion, she says she was approached by a former coach who tried to come on to her.

But she claims when she went to her boss to complain, she was told to expect that type of behavior in law enforcement, and nothing would be done to stop it.

Buntz is also filing a complaint of discrimination. The EEOC is investigating.
