Teens Arrested in Multiple Burglaries

Video will be available shortly.

1-25-05 – Police say two teenagers are behind 25-35 burglaries in Pottsboro and Grayson County. The crimes were all committed overnight Tuesday.

Michael Lee McCullough, 18, of Denison and Joshua Glen Neasbit, 18, of Pottsboro were charged by the Grayson County Sheriff's Office on 2 Counts of Burglary of a Habitation, 4-Counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and 1-Count of Evading Arrest and or Detention. Both are being held on $17,500.00 worth of bonds each.

Police say a burglary victim spotted the suspects and provided officers with description. Officers tracked the teens down to a home on Jewel Street. The suspects fled on foot, but were caught a short time later.

Police estimate they have recovered thousands of dollars in stolen goods since the arrests. Most of the crimes involved auto burglaries, however some homes were broken into.

County officials and Pottsboro officers are investigating as more burglaries are reported.
