4-04-05 – Police in Ardmore are on the lookout for a couple that made off with over $3,000 from two local banks. A woman wearing a green sweater and a man in a yellow jacket used stolen identities to cash a tax return check at the First Bank and Trust in downtown Ardmore.
However, at a different branch the plan was foiled, when they were asked for social security cards and left without taking their stolen ID with them.
The case has been turned over to the IRS department, but Ardmore Police are still looking to see if the couple received the checks somewhere on-line.
