10 Years Later - Bombing Victim Remembered

4-19-05 - It’s been 10 years since Gary Campbell lost his daughter – one of the 168 victims of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building bombing. But despite a decade of time, Gary still remembers that day like it was yesterday.

His daughter, Secret Service agent Cindy Campbell-Brown, had just celebrated her 26th birthday just days before the April 19th bombing. A newlywed who used to work for Grayson County Juvenile Services, Brown was on the 9th floor when the blast tore off a third of the building.

Her body was identified three days later. Gary still keeps the rubble that was found in her pockets – a reminder of the sacrifice his daughter made.
