Meth seized in Sherman traffic stop

SHERMAN, TX - A routine traffic stop last night in Sherman turned into a big drug bust for Sherman Police.

Officers tells us when they pulled over 33-year-old John Clayton from Arkansas and 32-year-old Brian Steele from northern Oklahoma just after seven on Highway 75, they saw marijuana residue on the driver's lap. A Sherman Police K-9 then found a small bag of pot and then this large bag of meth that weighed in at over half a pound.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Grayson County Jail.
