Accident in Pushmataha County

PUSHMATAHA CO., OK -- A Hugo woman is in serious condition after an accident early Saturday morning in Pushmataha County.

OHP says 50-year-old Maxine Fae Hicks fell asleep, ran off the roadway, and hit an embankment before striking a utility pole around 1:30 A.M.

The crash happened just six miles south of Antlers, Oklahoma.

Hicks was taken by air ambulance to a Tulsa Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
