5-3-05 - A sophomore at Leonard High School is facing a felony charge of making a terrorist threat after students say he bragged of a hit list and threatened to kill other students.
It began last month, when school leaders say the boy named two specific students on his list of people to kill. Authorities searched his locker and his home, but didn’t find any such list. They did discover files on his home computer that showed how to make bombs. The student has been placed in alternative school.
School officials feel the student was probably just showing off in front of classmates, but with past school shootings, comments of this magnitude aren't considered a joke.
The student will face the charge in juvenile court.
