Record Voter Turnout

5-7-05- Voters in Texas are heading to the polls Saturday. From the most-watched mayoral election in Sherman to the issues over alcohol sales, voters went to the polls in record numbers.

More than 4,000 people cast their ballots in Sherman Saturday. A hotly contested mayoral election, the wet/dry issue, and the 4B sales tax decision are credited with getting people out to vote.
