Hugo human remains identified

HUGO, OK-- The human remains found last week in Hugo have been identified as a woman who's been missing for 7 years.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.... The skeletal remains found are those of Sondra OJeda. The Hugo woman disappeared in September of 2005.

Detectives are investigating the cause of her death.

Her remains were found last week in the 600 block of South Broadway and Kiamichi. Officials said two men were cleaning up an empty lot when they made the discovery. Authorities said it appears the bones had been there for a long period of time.

The medical examiner in Tulsa expects to release more test results in the next few weeks.
