Single vehicle accident injures 2 people

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, OK -- Two people are in serious condition after a single vehicle accident near Antlers.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before 3:30 Wednesday afternoon on State Highway 271, a half mile south of Antlers.

According to written reports, 69-year-old Patsy Brittingham was traveling north when the vehicle she was in left the roadway and struck an embankment. The vehicle then went airborne and landed on a county road.

Patsy was taken to a Tulsa hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Her passenger, 78-year-old Howard Brittingham was taken to a near by hospital in Pushmataha county and is also listed in serious condition.
