CPS Changes Coming

06-08-05 – The parents of Jorden Saager say the recently signed CPS reform bill still has room for improvement and does not address the regulations that may have saved their daughters life.

Jorden Saager was beaten to death by her babysitter Kim Stephens, a woman who had a history of child abuse.

The overhaul of CPS includes hiring more caseworkers and providing better pay in order to retain them.

The Saagers say the changes would not have saved their daughters life, and hope for something similar to the registration system required of sex offenders.
