6-25-05 - More than 200 veterans gathered at Perrin Field in Denison for a very special reunion Saturday. The veterans returned to Perrin to honor Kenneth Hayes, a Korean War veteran, and founder of the Perrin Museum.
The 11th bi-annual reunion event allowed the veterans, many of whom are now scattered across the United States, to catch up on old times. The base closed in 1971 and many of the veterans were separated. The event allows them to come together and talk about the past.
Many of the veterans also took a stroll through the museum, full of war memorabilia.
