Gordonville Boy Dies in Crash

6-27-05 – A car crash in Marshall County claimed the life of a five year old boy Sunday night. The accident occurred at 9:00 p.m. on State Highway 32; two miles west of Kingston.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, a 1994 Mercury, driven by 35-year-old Jarrel Wayne Broadhead turned in front of another vehicle traveling eastbound.

The cars collided and 5-year-old Clayton Lowry of Gordonville was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother, Jodi Feazell, was driving the second car. She was airlifted to Parkland Hospital with a head injury. She was last listed in stable condition.

Two other passengers, 20-year-old Chase Wallace and 20-year-old Mathew Jones were taken to Marshall Memorial Hospital. Both men are in stable condition.

Broadhead was taken to Marshall Memorial Hospital in Madill in stable condition. His 19-year-old daughter, Alisha Batt, was taken by air ambulance to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City in stable condition.
