Man and child injured in Mannsville vehicle accident

MANNSVILLE, OK - A Davis child and Ardmore resident were taken to the hospital after a Johnston County accident early Sunday morning.

OHP said 31-year-old Dallas Hunt was driving south on Grand Avenue when he swerved and went into a ditch.

It happened around 12:30 a.m., one mile north of Highway 177 near Mannsville.

Hunt was taken by ambulance to Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore.

8-year-old Dallas Hunt II was taken by helicopter to a children's hospital in Oklahoma City.

Both are listed in stable condition.

Troopers say alcohol was a factor in the crash.
