Roads will remain treacherous from snow and sleet until mid-day, when sunshine shroud melt most of it away. Snow is likely to remain on the ground until Friday.
8-13-05 - Search and rescue teams have recovered the body of a Sherman man who drowned on Lake Texoma Friday night. The body of 29-year-old Florencio Ramirez was found just after 10 a.m. Saturday.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Ramirez jumped off the bow of a boat Friday evening around 6:30 p.m. Troopers say he was not a very good swimmer and misjudged the depth of the water. He never resurfaced.
Ramirez went into the water just south of Treasure Island, and his body was recovered nearby.
Dive teams called off their search at dark Friday night, but resumed at daylight this morning.
