A combination of very strong winds, falling temperatures and frozen precipitation will make Wednesday and Wednesday night dangerous for motorists. Freezing rain and sleet will change to snow before ending late Wednesday or early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Roads will be icy Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
7-15-05 - LONDON (AP) Police say a man they've been looking for in the London bombing investigation has been arrested in Egypt. Government officials in Cairo say they are holding the chemist.
The Egyptian-born man briefly studied in North Carolina.
An Egyptian official says Magdi el-Nashar is being interrogated by authorities there. London police will only say an arrest has
been made in Cairo but do not say he is a suspect.
The FBI had gotten involved in the search for el-Nashar, who was a graduate student at North Carolina State in 2000, and had been teaching chemistry at Leeds University.
His neighbors there tell The Times of London that el-Nashar had recently left the country, saying he had a visa problem.
