Local Scouts Leave for Jamboree

Some southern Oklahoma Boy Scouts loaded up on a bus and headed to The National Scout Jamboree.

36 Boy Scouts from Troop 1735, along with four adults, are making the journey. The jamboree is in Virginia but they plan to stop along the way.

Tomorrow they'll be white water rafting in Tennessee and by next Monday in Washington DC to see the nation’s capital.

These area scouts go to the jamboree once every four years.
